Customers who are interested in installing solar systems in their homes and businesses can apply at www.FPL.com/solarrebates starting at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 16, 2012. There will be a total of $9 million available across all programs. FPL has instituted a suggestion made by FlaSEIA and will initiate a stand-by list for those applications that are received after the funds have been depleted. If funds become available due to applicants not installing a solar system, FPL will reallocate the monies to applications on the stand-by list. Rebates will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and funds are expected to run out quickly.
