SEIA is asking its individual member companies to sign on to a letter that will be sent to members of Congress advocating for an extension of the highly successful 1603 Treasury Program. Your company can view and sign the letter at www.seia.org/1603coalition. The letter was spearheaded by a coalition of a dozen clean energy industries currently building projects and creating jobs with support from this effective policy. After signing the letter, please pass along the link to your colleagues at other companies and organizations and ask them to sign the letter. The current deadline for collecting signatures is November 23, 2011.

The goal is to gather signatures from individual companies, as well as trade associations and business groups, to show the depth and breadth of support for the program across the spectrum of clean energy technologies. Please note the signature page also includes a data field to input states in which your company is operating offices or developing projects. Please include as much information as you feel comfortable sharing, as this is very valuable to SEIA staff as we reach out to specific Senate offices and describe the extent of industry activity already underway in those states.
